Regional Banking Client: Document Review for Commercial Foreclosure and Contract Dispute
When counsel for a southeastern bank received broad, wide-ranging discovery requests in a commercial foreclosure and contract dispute, they called Encompass. Our team completed a fast-paced document review of approximately 100,000 documents in just a few weeks so that case counsel could defensibly serve responsive documents within 30 days in advance of trial.
Commodities Trading Company: U.S. and United Kingdom Review
As part of the defense of our client's case in a commercial litigation matter involving allegations regarding commodities' pricing, Encompass conducted review involving electronic information collected from the United States and the United Kingdom. Responsive to our client's need for fast turnaround, the Encompass team reviewed a total of about 215,000 documents, with turnaround times for each data set of less than 30 days.
Document Review to Support Arbitration Demand and Proceedings
Encompass conducted a two-phase review to first help its Fortune 200 client support a demand for arbitration in connection with a breach of contract proceeding, and to then support production of documents in connection with the arbitration proceeding. Working collaboratively with case counsel, Encompass reviewed 5.5 million pages from 27 custodians, including providing privilege review and redaction services.
